Hi there and welcome!
My names is Candace Barnes and this is my new blog. This time last year (January 2019) I launched my Etsy shop – WinterWoodsy (winterwoodsy.etsy.com). I had a lot of fun making, selling and shipping custom handmade Christmas ornaments. The shop was far more successful than I had anticipated. This year in 2020, my goal is to start this blog and have a little piece of my own interwebs to share content about myself, family, our home, hobbies and more.
In a nutshell, I am happily married, Mama of two little boys, a registered nurse, retired Park Ranger, retired competitive swimmer and a self-proclaimed craft-a-holic. I love trying new things that give me a chance to be creative. Examples being photography, cooking, baking, wood-working, watercoloring, knitting, crocheting, quilting and now… blogging!
